Jim Van Dam — the 2016 Outstanding Young Alumni Award recipient — returned to Davenport University this week to speak in sport management classes. Van Dam is putting his sport management degree to use as the Manager of Corporate Sales at Tampa Bay Lightning, a professional ice hockey team based in Tampa, Florida. He graduated from DU in 2010.
“We love when alumni come back to share their insight with students!” said Sara Mooney, Assistant Director of Alumni Communications and Development. ”If you’re looking for an alumnus to speak in your class, the Alumni Office has a list of alumni who are eager to volunteer to speak in classes.”
Faculty are encouraged to email Mooney at Sara.Mooney@davenport.edu to be connected to alumni for guest speaking.
