Last Saturday, more than 160 people attended the dedication of the new Donald W. Maine College of Business Building and honor Chancellor Emeritus Don Maine. President Pappas opened the ceremony and was followed by inspiring and heartfelt words from DU Board Chair Frank Merlotti, Dean Pamella Imperato, Faculty members Dr. Jack Cichy & Dr. Margaret Mwenda, DU student Tyler Triemstra and Shane Napper from Rockford Construction.
In closing, Don Maine portrayed his gratitude and sincere appreciation – “Davenport has been built on a culture of leadership, talent and teamwork. This building represents the countless hours of dedication by the staff, faculty and students. It is another giant step forward for Davenport and its students in the ever-changing world of business and technology.”
