Cheryl is the Founding President of The Brown Foundation for Educational Equity, Excellence and Research, and owner of Brown & Associates, educational consulting firm. Cheryl is the daughter of Rev. Oliver L. Brown, one of the parents responsible for the Brown v. Board of Education case that enabled the groundbreaking U.S. Supreme Court Case decision, making segregation in public schools unconstitutional.
Cheryl’s January 17 presentation, “Brown v. The Board of Education: The Legacy Continues,” will inspire attendees to take on persistent barriers to advancing educational equity.
