New partnership enables Henry Ford College students a seamless experience to earn a bachelor’s
(GRAND RAPIDS, MICH. – August 27, 2020) Davenport University announced today that it has signed an agreement with Henry Ford College to offer HFC students, graduating with an associate degree, a seamless experience to earn their bachelor’s degree at Davenport.
“This is a fantastic opportunity for Henry Ford students to quickly advance their degrees and increase their earning potential,” said Dr. Richard J. Pappas, president of Davenport University. “This partnership is a perfect example of Davenport’s ongoing commitment to support our state’s community colleges and make it more convenient for students to earn a bachelor’s degree in as little as three years.”
This new partnership agreement enables Henry Ford College students working on their associate degree to easily transfer credits toward a complementary bachelor’s degree program at Davenport University.
“Beyond this agreement, Davenport and Henry Ford College both share a strong history of responding to the needs of our communities and providing access to an affordable education,” noted Russ Kavalhuna, president of Henry Ford College. “This agreement acknowledges the hard work of our students and allows them to build upon the credits and credentials earned at Henry Ford Community College as they complete a bachelor’s degree at Davenport.”
