Davenport University has once again been named one of West Michigan’s Best and Brightest Companies to Work For by the National Association for Business Resources (NABR).
“I am so proud that Davenport won this prestigious award for the third year in a row,” said Leslie Elliott, director of Human Resources. “The award is a result of the university’s commitment to continuous improvement and its employees’ daily efforts to make Davenport a great place to work.”
Davenport joined other companies being honored at West Michigan’s Best and Brightest Companies to Work For annual awards ceremony on May 9 at the Pinnacle Center in Hudsonville.
Companies that receive the Best and Brightest Award have proven to uphold and set strict standards for best practices for company culture, human resources, and more. They also show a continued commitment to promoting inclusivity, collaboration, and corporate responsibility and to attract and retain top talent.
The winning companies were assessed on several key measures, including compensation, benefits and employee solutions; creative wellness and well-being solutions; employee enrichment, engagement and retention; employee education and development; and recruitement and selection.
