Davenport University would like to welcome Melanie Tomaski as new leader for the Business Professionals of America Middle Level Program as the new State Advisor.
BPA is the leading Career Technical Student Organization for students pursuing careers in business management, office administration, information technology and other related fields.
Tomaski will continue on the legacy of Ron Draayer who was state advisor and recipient of the BPA Outstanding Service Award as he continues his next journey as Professor Emeritus.
There are over 43,000 members in 2,300 chapters spanning across 23 states.
The BPA Middle Level Programs offer business-related competitive events where students engage and apply computer skills, teamwork, research and presentation.
Tomaski sits on two national committees as trip advisor and volunteer of BPA Nationals Trip report. She was named advisor of the year in the state of Michigan on top of being a teacher at Ludington middle and high schools.
Davenport University hosts the Middle Level BPA Program for the state of Michigan where the program is now going into its fourth year.
